Our Story:
Our story is one of experience.
The founder is a former chef/restaurant owner who was a life-long dog hobbyist and eventual competitor. He knows dogs, he understands the issues many of you face. He had such a passion for dogs and helping people, he hung up his apron and is now an award winning, professional dog trainer. Along his journey, he started a foundation to provide properly trained Service Dogs to Combat Wounded Veterans at no cost to them. His team now trains Service Dogs for people all over North America with many different disabilities. He is also a paid speaker and trainer for corporate management gatherings.
His experience teaching new dog handlers what rights they have really opened his eyes to the issues they face on a daily basis. In defending their rights, he learned that education was the greatest issue businesses faced. The overwhelming takeaway was, “We just didn’t know.” Ignorance of the law doesn’t excuse actions. With many years of experience, he understands this to be a multi-faceted problem. With the growing problem of everyone wanting to call their pet dog a Service Dog, some very special Veterans are hindered from exploring the world freely. While every legitimate Service Dog is equally important, this really became the driver for what we do!
Our company is born out of necessity because there is an incredible problem.
